Description
Resideo is currently seeking aQuality Assurance (QA) Tech Resourceto lead our test efforts for our web and eCommerce platforms. The QA role will report to the Director of technology and interact frequently with marketing business partners.
JOB DUTIES:
- Test Planning and Design:
- Develop document and maintain test strategies plans and scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Identify testing needs and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Testing Execution:
- Perform functional regression integration performance and automation testing across web mobile and API platforms.
- Ensure test coverage across different browsers devices and operating systems.
- Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools (e.g. Selenium Appium JUnit TestNG etc.).
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles.
- Defect Management:
- Identify report and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA Bugzilla or equivalent.
- Work closely with developers to resolve defects and verify fixes.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product owners developers and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Act as a quality advocate during all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including test cases reports and release notes.
- Ensure compliance with established quality assurance processes and standards.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance including both manual and automated testing.
- 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- 5 years of experience in testing SaaS solutions. Shopify a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
WE VALUE:
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java Python or JavaScript for automation.
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium Appium Cypress or similar.
- Handson experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.
