Job Description

A reputed FMCG company is seeking a resultsdriven Accounts Officer to oversee daytoday financial transactions and ensure accurate accounting across multiple sales channels. The ideal candidate will handle purchase and sales entries manage vendor payments reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software strong numerical skills and the ability to manage highvolume transactions typical of the FMCG industry. Coordination with sales supply chain and audit teams is crucial. Prior experience in FMCG finance and knowledge of distributionlevel accounting practices is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions including sales purchases and expenses.

  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers and ensure timely vendor payments.

  • Prepare and file GST TDS and other statutory returns as per schedule.

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

  • Assist in monthly quarterly and annual financial closings and audits.

  • Monitor distributor and retailer accounts for outstanding dues and discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with sales logistics and inventory teams to validate financial entries.

  • Generate financial reports and MIS for management review.





Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance.

  • 2 4 years of accounting experience preferably in the FMCG sector.

  • Proficient in Tally SAP or other ERP/accounting systems.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST TDS) and compliance practices.

  • Excellent Excel skills and financial reporting abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to handle large data volumes.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
