Our team is composed of engineers machine learning scientists and product specialists from leading institutions. Role Overview: As the Engineering Manager at Mihup you will be a strategic and handson leader responsible for defining and driving the technical vision for our conversational AI SaaS platform. You will:
Establish and own the engineering roadmap ensuring scalable secure and highperformance solutions hosted on AWS.
Build mentor and grow crossfunctional engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation quality and accountability.
Collaborate closely with Product and Operations to prioritize features align on deliverables and accelerate timetomarket.
Oversee engineering resource planning and optimize costs and support business objectives.
Implement and refine processes best practices and metrics to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Technical Management: Your role is to lead motivate inspire and encourage your own as well as cross functional technical teams. Teams include Developers Data Scientists Machine Learning Engineers Testers Linguists and Data Analysts
Project Management: Manage project plans software development life cycle processes delivery of all phases of application and product development testing and bug cycles. Manage project management methodologies with strong operational excellence.
System Design: Design complex software systems that are scalable and performant. Recommend improvements of system and processes & resource utilisation. Implement best practices and coding standards. Proficient in one or more languages like Java Golang Python Javascript C/C etc.
People Management: Manage and mentor a team of Developers DevOps Engineers and Data Scientists ranging from 1015 members. Partner with the other content delivery and operations teams for smooth delivery of the final product.
IT Security Management: Ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of internal and client data. Establish robust security controls password protection and compliance with SOC2 GDPR and ISO standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
810 years of experience in leading Software Engineering / Development projects.
Excellent problem solving communication and analytical skills.
Proficiency in atleast one of the languages like Java Golang Python JavaScript C/C etc.
Experience in working with AWS Azure or GCP cloudbased architecture and deploying webbased and webenabled business applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to handle and resolve conflict situations.
Strong understanding of Architectural and Design patterns.
Highly innovative flexible and selfdirected.
Excellent managerial skills and proven experience of managing a large team.
Experience in building executive level internal and external relationships in a complex and dynamic organisation and in influencing crossfunctional teams.
Passionate selfstarter decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
Required Education:
BS/MS/ degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related majors.
