Job Description
End to End Solution DesignDefining the detailed end to end solution design for products and features in a way that supports the execution of the impacted GB/GF technology strategies and roadmaps articulating and addressing associated architectural risks issues and technical debtTranslating the requirements created by business analysts into the architecture for that solution ensuring the products and services meet the customer needs and expected Business OutcomesEngage with relevant Stakeholders Platform and Enterprise Architects who inform solution designEnsuring the design of the solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle managing the flow of the backlog of design activitiesEnsuring the NFRs are consistently defined and architected into the designRisk ManagementEffectively manage and escalate risks/issues to ensure there are no surprises for the PM /or stakeholder where appropriateEnsuring the architecture undergoes appropriate level of assessment at the right stage throughout the agile process in line with the appropriate GB/GF Governance processes (as applicable) ensuring adherence to Decision Driven Design and the Solution Architecture FIMProduction of relevant risk based architecture deliverables are completed in accordance with relevant Architecture governance process and quality standardsAppropriate level of governance for any decisions when deviating from Reference Architectures Strategies Patterns or PoliciesPeer review and solutions design decision making verification and traceabilityArchitecture Mind SetEscalating to Enterprise Platform and Value Stream architects to evolve the architectural strategy and roadmap where gaps become evident; looking for opportunities to improve the current landscape/enterpriseIdentify dependencies across multiple GB/GFs and PlatformsDeveloping and growing a skillset to design for cloud and for resilient robust secure adaptable and flexible solutionProviding leadership with individual PODs or working with a number of PODs to ensure consistency of directionRole RequirementsBudget control: This role will have no budget management: This job will not have line management management: This job will not have functional management : Product Owners/Business Technical Leads Platform and Solution architects cross LoB and importance Low/Medium: Part of a team helping to drive and shape a multiyear multimillion dollar programmeRegulatory & risk Identifies risks against defined architecture standards drives implementation in architecture design & promotes best practiceQualificationsWhat you will bring to the roleTo be successful in this role you should have proven experience within the Technology sector with knowledge or demonstrable experience of the following:Experience in delivering solutions over a number of years either as a solutions architect or as a developer/analyst able to demonstrate architectural analytical and problemsolving skills Ability to interact within the business as well as Technology Ability to quickly consider and create solutions to immediate challenges as well as produce longer term strategic views and communication skills and the capability to adapt verbal and written communications to the appropriate audience to communicate at the right level depending on audience
