Role description:

We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Associate Principal Engineer Mechanical to work on our US and Canada projects from Bangalore.

To be considered for a role we are seeking candidates with the following credentials:

Job Title

Associate Principal Engineer Mechanical

Role accountabilities:

• He will be responsible for the design analysis and implementation of equipment design mechanical layouts piping systems in industrial/domestic water and wastewater projects specifically for US projects.
• Leading and supervising the design team and ensure the project is delivered with high quality within the program and budget
• Liaising with the lead region to demonstrate an understanding of scope knowledge and experience to provide innovative design solutions as per best engineering practices.
• Develop Piping Engineering Piping design and preparation of Piping Layout pipe isometrics review of piping model including material selection pipe sizing and stress analysis under various operating conditions including thermal expansion sustained loads and occasional loads.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review and interpret piping specifications isometric drawings and relevant documents to conduct accurate stress analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME API ASTM etc.).
• Assess piping support requirements and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with industry codes standards and projectspecific requirements.
• Generate comprehensive stress analysis reports detailing findings recommendations and necessary design modifications to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding pipe stress analysis including interpretation of analysis results and implementation of design changes.
• Collaborate with thirdparty stakeholders including clients and regulatory authorities to address stress analysisrelated inquiries and requirements.
• Attend relevant design and client meetings to gain insight into project requirements and conduct training sessions for project team members to ensure proficiency
• Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to applicable safety environmental and engineering standards
• Implementation of quality procedures to ensure a good design deliverable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering

• A minimum of 10 years experience in Industrial Wastewater treatment plants /WTPs STPs.
• Proficiency in Revit CADWorx Plant 3D software and related tools with the ability to integrate Ceaser II into projectspecific design workflows.
• Indepth knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 ASME B31.1 EN134803 and API 579 for the design and analysis of piping Principal Engineer Structures.
