Product Owner
About this position:
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with 10 to 15 years of industry experience to join our growing team atPune. As a Product Owner you will be instrumental in building consortium solutions to proactively identify fraud risk within our Financial Crime Prevention and Detection product. You will translate strategic vision into actionable product initiatives working closely with data engineers data scientists and engineering teams to deliver cuttingedge AI/MLdriven solutions. Your expertise in the payments and financial crime domain will be crucial in guiding the development of efficient and scalable data models.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog ensuring it reflects customer needs business goals and technical feasibility.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback data insights and market trends.
- Serve as the voice of the customer during development sprints and ceremonies.
- Partner closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with UX/design QA and product marketing to ensure seamless delivery and user experience.
- Work with product managers to ensure alignment between strategic vision and execution
- Understand how machine learning and data analytics apply to fraud detection and leverage this to inform feature development.
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize models and ensure model performance aligns with customer expectations.
- Help translate companys strategic vision into data sciencefocused product initiatives.
- Interface with clients and internal SMEs to collect requirements validate use cases and gather feedback.
- Participate in customer calls workshops and product demonstrations.
- Help ensure product development is grounded in realworld fraud scenarios and customer workflows.
- Support sprint planning reviews and retrospectives to ensure successful and highquality delivery.
- Ensure acceptance criteria are welldefined and met before features are released.
- Track product and feature performance postrelease and help drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with sales professional services and customer success teams to communicate product capabilities and roadmap.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the product during internal and customerfacing discussions.
- Guide Engineering counterparts about identifying the efficient & scalable datamodel.
Key skills you will require:
Primary Skills
- 1015 years of overall experience with 4 years in Product Management or a technical productrelated role (SaaS). Experience in fraud prevention AML or financial crime solutions (a significant plus).
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they apply to realworld detection problems.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and managing backlogs in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problemsolving capabilities.
- Technical Experience on Database Cloud & APIs.
- Familiarity with cloudbased platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
