As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Finance Last Mile Regulatory Reporting team you will be leading a highperforming technical team dedicated to delivering topnotch regulatory reporting solutions. Your proficiency in Axiom PL/SQL Python AWS and Databricks will be instrumental in steering your team to meet regulatory standards guarantee data precision and uphold compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to a technical team specializing in Finance Last Mile Regulatory Reporting ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory compliance and business teams to define reporting requirements and design solutions that meet regulatory standards.
- Oversee the development testing and deployment of regulatory reporting features ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with industry regulations.
- Utilize your expertise in Axiom PL/SQL and Python to contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions for regulatory reporting.
- Implement and manage cloudbased solutions using AWS ensuring scalability security and performance for regulatory reporting processes.
- Leverage Databricks for data processing and analytics driving insights and ensuring data integrity in regulatory reports.
- Foster an agile mindset within the team encouraging adaptability continuous improvement and responsiveness to change.
- Influence and engage stakeholders effectively communicating project goals progress and outcomes to ensure alignment and support.
- Challenge the status quo and drive an innovative mindset within the team exploring multiple options to resolve business problems.
- Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of regulatory reports.
- Mentor and develop team members promoting professional growth and development.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience. In addition demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
- Extensive experience in managing and leading technical teams with a focus on regulatory reporting in the financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in Axiom PL/SQL and Python with a proven track record of successful project delivery in regulatory reporting.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture with experience in deploying and managing cloudbased solutions for regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with Databricks and data analytics with the ability to drive datadriven insights and ensure data integrity in regulatory reports.
- Agile mindset with experience in agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Experience in the financial services industry specifically in regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
- Certifications in AWS or Databricks are a plus.
