Job Overview
The Administrative Officer position at Podar Education Network is a midlevel fulltime role based in Belagavi. The role requires expertise in managing and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and compliance within the organization. The officer will work closely with staff members to support the daytoday administrative functions including facility and vendor management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in facility management to ensure the institutions infrastructure is wellmaintained and functional (Mandatory skill).
- Proven experience in vendor management to negotiate and manage service agreements efficiently (Mandatory skill).
- Strong skills in office administration to ensure smooth daily operations of the office environment (Mandatory skill).
- Effective travel coordination abilities to manage and organize travel plans and itineraries for management and staff.
- Experience in procurement to oversee buying processes and vendor relationships ensuring costeffectiveness and quality.
- Thorough knowledge of compliance management to ensure adherence to educational policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the facilities of the institution are maintained to a high standard and handle any repairs or improvements as necessary.
- Liaise with vendors to secure agreements and manage service contracts and procurement processes.
- Support office administration duties including scheduling resource management and policy enforcement.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for meetings conferences and special events for staff and management.
- Manage the procurement of office supplies equipment and other necessary goods or services.
- Maintain compliance with all policies and regulations pertaining to education administration.
