The opportunity
Unity LevelPlay is a leading mediation platform that empowers app developers to optimize ad revenue by seamlessly connecting their apps to multiple ad networks.
At the core of LevelPlay the LevelPlay Infra team is responsible for the missioncritical realtime inapp bidding system which serves billions of ad auction requests per day.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Engineering Manager to join a rapidly growing team. We work in a fast paced environment building a realtime bidding system which serves billions of users.

This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals who have a strong background in backend development leadership skills and a deep understanding of largescale distributed systems. What youll be doing
- Manage a team of senior software engineers fostering growth collaboration and high performance.
- Ensure the efficiency scalability and stability of various backend system components.
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
- Work closely with various stakeholders and departments to prioritize and deliver exceptional features.
What were looking for
- At least 3 years of leadership experience as a team leader or similar role managing backend software development teams.
- Proven track record leading major efforts prioritizing tasks and delivering highquality results within set timelines.
- Handson production experience with backend systems at large scale.
- Strong expertise with distributed systems message queue technologies
- e.g. Kafka Kinesis SQS) and keyvalue databases (e.g. Aerospike Redis).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and an inherent willingness to help others.
You might also have
- Understanding of distributed stream processing
- Previous adtech experience
