Senior Shop Floor Manager Supermarket Shop Cork
Blue Forge Recruitment proudly represents leading progressive retail and FMCG companies across the country. We are delighted to be working with a fantastic retailer located on the outskirts of Cork City who has just revamped their store with a 1 million euro investment in the store.
My client is looking to get positive results and lead the shop floor team.

Salary on offerDOE 40 hour contract. Must have grocery shop management experience.
Requirements for this Senior Shop Floor Manager
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a highperforming team.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain excellent store standards.
- Good retail business acumen including experience in driving sales managing P&L and controlling costs.
- Extensive grocery or fresh food experience in retail supermarkets and convenience stores ideally.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings and evenings.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior Shop Floor Manager
- Oversee daytoday shop floor operations ensuring the store runs efficiently and maintains the highest standards.
- Act as a Duty Manager taking responsibility for designated departments to drive sales profitability and product availability.
- Manage supplier relationships pricing strategies and stock control to reduce waste and optimise efficiency.
- Lead supervise and develop a motivated team ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction increase footfall and boost retention.
