We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing Posts for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.
Specified Purpose Full Time Post Maternity Leave Cover
(Day/Night/Weekend Shift Rotation)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of patient safety at all times.
- Maintenance of effective throughput of patients within the service.
- Ensuring that workloads are arranged in a manner that maximises the use of resources.
- Analysing monitoring and forecasting trends relevant to the service
- Direct and active participation in service planning implementation and evaluation in overall resource management of the service including continuous quality audit and performance measurements
- Ensuring the application of best practice including the generation of action plans to continuously improve the provision of services.
Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Demonstrated strong leadership and exceptional communication skills fostering collaboration and teamwork in diverse healthcare settings.
- Extensive experience in acute care management ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- A minimum of five years of postregistration experience including significant tenure in an acute training hospital is essential.
- A Bachelor of Science degree is required with a higher qualification being desirable. A commitment to pursuing further education is encouraged.
- A management qualification is essential showcasing proficiency in healthcare administration and leadership
- Proven track record in change management resource allocation conflict resolution quality and safety management problemsolving and operational planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills complemented by strong IT proficiency are essential for effective collaboration and patient engagement.
