Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing Posts for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.

Specified Purpose Full Time Post Maternity Leave Cover

(Day/Night/Weekend Shift Rotation)


Responsibilities
  • Ensure the maintenance of patient safety at all times.
  • Maintenance of effective throughput of patients within the service.
  • Ensuring that workloads are arranged in a manner that maximises the use of resources.
  • Analysing monitoring and forecasting trends relevant to the service
  • Direct and active participation in service planning implementation and evaluation in overall resource management of the service including continuous quality audit and performance measurements
  • Ensuring the application of best practice including the generation of action plans to continuously improve the provision of services.


Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and exceptional communication skills fostering collaboration and teamwork in diverse healthcare settings.
  • Extensive experience in acute care management ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
  • A minimum of five years of postregistration experience including significant tenure in an acute training hospital is essential.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree is required with a higher qualification being desirable. A commitment to pursuing further education is encouraged.
  • A management qualification is essential showcasing proficiency in healthcare administration and leadership
  • Proven track record in change management resource allocation conflict resolution quality and safety management problemsolving and operational planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills complemented by strong IT proficiency are essential for effective collaboration and patient engagement.
