Job Description

TheAVP Market Insights Social Media and& Content Marketing Asiawill lead the development and execution oflocalized content and social media strategiesfor the FXTM brand across key Asian markets includingChina Vietnam Thailand Malaysia and other Southeast Asian regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills a deep understanding of the Forex industry and expertise in leveragingsocial media platformsto drive brand awareness client acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will have exceptional multilingual copywriting skills to create compelling content inEnglish and Chinese a proven track record insocial media growth strategies and the ability to analyze market trends and produce market analysis content to support business objectives as well as to collaborate across teams to deliver results.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Trading Market Insights Trend Analysis and Content Creation: 

  1. Analyzemarket trendsin the Forex industry and related financial markets to identify opportunities and risks for the business. 
  2. Produce highqualitymarket analysis content(e.g. daily/weekly market updates trend reports economic event analyses) inEnglish and Chineseto educate and engage clients. 
  3. Translate complex market data and insights into clear actionable and compelling content for both retail and indirect audiences. 
  4. Collaborate with the business insights and trading teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance. 

Social Media Strategy and Execution: 

  1. Develop and implementsocial media strategiestailored to the unique landscapes ofChina (e.g. WeChat Douyin)andSoutheast Asia (e.g. Facebook Instagram LINE YouTube TikTok). 
  2. Drive growth and engagement on social media platforms by creating and curating highquality platformspecific content (e.g. posts stories videos live streams). 
  3. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g. reach engagement follower growth social acquisition social retention) to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs. 
  4. Provide strategic proposals for social and community strategy product and brand campaigns to drive social and overall acquisition and retention targets. 
  5. Stay updated on social media trends algorithm changes and emerging platforms to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative. 
  6. Collaborate with influencers partners and internal teams to amplify brand presence and reach as well as drive new business via social media. 
  7. Manage both organic and paid social media campaigns including budget allocation targeting and performance tracking. 

Content Strategy Development and Execution: 

  1. Develop and implementlocalized content strategiesfor key Asian markets aligned with the companys objectives and customer needs. 
  2. Create and manage content strategies across all client touchpoints including websites client portals social media CRM trading platforms and educational materials. 
  3. Conduct content audits gap analyses and competitor analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment with commercial and risk mitigation strategies. 
  4. Determine the most effective content formats (e.g. articles videos infographics webinars) to engage target audiences and achieve marketing goals. 
  5. Deliver valuedriven content tailored to different stages of the customer lifecycle (awareness acquisition onboarding conversion retention reactivation). 

Performance Analysis and Optimization: 

  1. Analyze content and social media performance metrics (e.g. engagement traffic conversions) to identify trends anticipate customer needs and refine strategies. 
  2. Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure the success of content and social media marketing efforts. 
  3. Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to enhance content visibility and drive organic traffic. 
  4. Monitor competitor content and social media strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement. 

Collaboration and Leadership: 

  1. Work closely with crossfunctional teams (e.g. acquisition website CVM business insights) to ensure content and social media efforts are aligned and leveraged effectively. 
  2. Collaborate with internal and external content contributors providing clear briefs managing deliverables and ensuring editorial quality. 
  3. Lead risk mitigation and crisis management efforts ensuring timely responses to incidents and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Content Creation and Delivery: 

  1. Write highquality Forex market analysis articles and create educational content inEnglish and Chinesewith a quick turnaround time. 
  2. Conduct webinars inEnglish and Chineseto support client acquisition retention and upselling efforts. 
  3. Develop multimedia content (e.g. infographics videos presentations) to enhance brand storytelling and engagement. 

Qualifications :

Education and Experience: 

  1. Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Advertising Journalism or a related field. 
  2. Strong understanding of the Forex market including the ability to create market analysis content and conduct educational webinars. 
  3. Proven experience insocial media strategy content marketing and digital marketing preferably in the financial services or Forex industry. 

Skills and Competencies: 

  1. Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills inEnglish and Chinese(a must). 
  2. Strong analytical skills to gather business insights track performance metrics and optimize strategies. 
  3. Expertise in managingChina social media platforms (e.g. WeChat Weibo Douyin)andSEA platforms (e.g. Facebook Instagram LINE TikTok). 
  4. Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills. 
  5. Ability to think strategically while managing details and meeting deadlines. 
  6. Proficiency in SEO keyword research and content distribution across digital channels. 
  7. Design sensibility to envision and create multimedia content (e.g. infographics videos). 
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage crosstime zone work schedules. 
  9. Ability to utilize content and SEO marketing tools including but not limited to Google Analytics Google search console; Business analytics tools such as Amplitude Power BI; Research tools such as Bloomberg; Website CMS such as Drupal

  4. Knowledge of additional Asian languages (e.g. Thai Korean) is a plus.
