We are a successful European telecommunications company specializing in providing highspeed connectivity to areas with historically limited access to digital opportunities. With a focus on building localized presence and delivering flexible services at competitive prices weve experienced substantial growth in our home market increasing our customer base fivefold and expanding to over 1000 locations.

After establishing a strong track record in our primary market were now bringing our proven business model to Greece where we see tremendous potential to enhance highspeed connectivity and create positive change in local communities.

The Opportunity

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to join our growing operation in Greece at a foundational stage. We have already begun deploying fiber network infrastructure in select Athens neighborhoods and are now seeking a Commercial Director to lead our market entry and drive business growth.

As our Commercial Director you will have the unique opportunity to build something from the ground up with the support of our experienced international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Creation & Leadership: Recruit build and lead a highperforming local team fostering a collaborative work environment to drive success
  • Business Strategy Development: Adapt our proven business model to the Greek market developing a comprehensive strategy that addresses local market drivers and telecom regulatory frameworks
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Establish and execute a sales strategy focused on achieving revenue targets and growing our customer base in areas where our fiber network has been deployed
  • Product Portfolio Management: Develop service offerings including fiber connectivity and additional services like fixed line and mobile communications
  • Operational Excellence: Set up efficient processes for service delivery ensuring highquality customer experiences
  • Partner Negotiations: Lead negotiations with local providers and manage relationships with regulatory authorities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the country budget and optimize resources to ensure profitable growth



Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business Economics Engineering or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus)
  • 35 years in a senior commercial or sales role
  • Greek national or local with fluent Greek language skills and deep understanding of the Greek market
  • Proven experience in developing and scaling B2C operations in new markets
  • Experience in telecommunications and fibre services
  • Understanding of the telecommunications regulatory framework in Greece
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to both strategize and execute
  • Experience in market entry business development or building operations from early stages
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
  • Ability to build and lead teams effectively
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Spanish is a plus)
