About the Role:
Were looking for a talented and proactive Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team at Paytech. This is a fantastic opportunity to support critical platform operations and help us deliver secure highperforming systems that meet both customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform BAU tasks and manage support tickets
Apply Linux OS patching and resolve system vulnerabilities
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Git and Ansible
Maintain uptodate and accurate infrastructure documentation
Support migration of services to AWS Cloud
Ensure systems remain compliant with PCIDSS standards
What Youll Bring:
Essential Skills:
Strong experience in enterprise Linux administration (RedHat)
Proficiency with Ansible for automation
Competence in using version control tools (Bitbucket GitLab etc.)
Familiarity with change management processes
Good scripting abilities in Bash and/or Python
Track record of troubleshooting and maintaining server software
Personal Attributes:
A collaborative team player who thrives in fastpaced environments
Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to nontechnical team members
A logical problemsolver with a proactive mindset
Comfortable working independently and managing own workload
