JOB OVERVIEW
At Kent College Canterbury we are seeking a wellqualified and passionate Teacher of Science to join an outstanding department with the ability to teach Junior Science and two to three sciences to GCSE Higher level.
The successful candidate may also be teaching our Innovation programme at KS3 that is designed to enhance students transferable skills through crosscurricular activities. The Science Departments results are excellent and the successful candidate will be expected to sustain current levels of achievement whilst developing their own individual role within a fully supportive team.
Experience of teaching KS3 Science and two to three sciences at KS4 is essential however newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
This is a fulltime teaching post from September 2025 and is temporary for a period up to January 2026 initially after which it could be extended.
