Job Description
POST: Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (ECT) for Britannia Education Trust
Salary: ECT Teacher Main Scale M1
Contract: Full Time Temporary from September 2025
Location: One of the schools in the trust: Britannia Village Westwood Road West Silvertown E16 2AW or Royal Wharf 1 John Harrison Square West Silvertown Newham.
Both schools are close to West Silvertown/Pontoon Dock DLR

Our schools are at the heart of one of the most dynamic and rapidly changing areas in Europe and we are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic newly qualified teachers to join our forward thinking team.
Our schools are 2 form entry with class sizes of around 20 pupils and 3 classes per year group.
We pride ourselves on our welcoming and creative learning environment and have a strong nurturing ethos striving to make a real difference to the lifechances of our pupils. As an ECT you will be wellsupported during your ECT year through our induction programme which includes the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced teacher as well as a senior leader and take part in CPD both internally and externally.
