Job Purpose
Were looking for a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Global Media team on a permanent basis.
Your will Own and drive a set of products (3rd party and dh built) in the Global Media domain throughout the entire product lifecycle. From user understanding and design to requirements delivery and ongoing support. You will be expected to work closely with the 3rd party vendors and the dh product squad (engineering and design) to drive your products evolution and understand and align this to the broader product strategy set by a Senior Manager and/or Product Director. Your work will involve collaborating within a larger crossfunctional team to solve business problems and ensure there is clarity in the value your product creates against business and client outcomes. You will also work closely with the proposition team to drive the direction of the product long term.
Key Accountabilities
Drive your product: Develop and drive a midterm product vision strategy and roadmap for your product area utilising genuine client insight product market and competitor data to inform this strategy. Work closely with your engineering and design counterparts to evolve your products so that it achieves key results against defined business objectives. Build subject matter expertise to enable continual product innovation.
Know our business: Gain and maintain a clear understanding of business strategy and objectives. Seek to understand how your product contributes to these efforts and where you have opportunities to work across the organisation to create solutions that matter.
Comprehend the market: Understand the market including competitive functionality and use this information to help drive your products growth and stickiness with clients.
Understand your users: Build a detailed understanding of both client needs and end user engagement. Be diligent in your commitment to end user problems and how your product can work to solve these.
Execute with Excellence: Enable the daytoday effectiveness of your squads through completion of activities such as user story creation backlog grooming and clear and frequent communication with your team.
Create Awareness: Work with product marketing and client teams to advance the go to market strategy and the development of relevant collateral
Measure what matters: Identify measure and improve key product metrics to enhance the user experience. Utilize this information to create a compelling and relevant product vision.
Bring others on the journey: Develop clear communication and resources that share the story of your products evolution and its alignment to objectives (the WHY) Participate in forums to share this information and educate others on your product and the value it creates for users.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in product management in a B2B software development company
Experience in the relevant sector or field to your product
