SDUKs brands include the Nations favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other wellknown cheese oils butter & spread brands (Davidstow Wensleydale Creamery Sheese Frylight Clover Country Life Vitalite Utterly Butterly and Willow).
We are seeking a dynamic creative and commercially astute Marketing Manager to spearhead the Cathedral City brand both domestically and internationally. This exciting high visibility senior role is integral to achieving SDUKs objectives and formulating longterm strategic growth plans. You will oversee a team of three and report directly to the Marketing Director Cheese. This position offers a flexible and autonomous working environment with hybrid working options available.
In this role you will be responsible for driving brand equity market penetration and consumer engagement through strategic marketing initiatives. You will leverage datadriven insights to inform product innovation optimise the marketing mix and enhance customer alignment. Your expertise in integrated marketing communications brand management and new product development (NPD) will be pivotal in achieving our financial and market share targets. Additionally you will manage the marketing budget with precision ensuring transparent reporting and adherence to forecasts. Collaboration with crossfunctional teams including Sales Shopper Marketing and Ecommerce will be essential to maximise brand visibility and drive growth.
YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY
Shaping and executing the Cathedral City Vision (UK and International) for brand development innovation marketing support and customer alignment.
Driving 13year plans for the Cathedral City portfolio gaining alignment throughout the business and with customers.
Managing all brand/marketing activities for Cathedral City delivering market brand and financial KPIs through excellent marketing strategies and execution.
Defining and delivering marketing activities to meet consumer targets of share and penetration with agile and bestinclass execution.
Tracking and reporting financial performance vs KPIs identifying opportunities/gaps and taking clear actions.
Owning and executing relevant NPD projects building compelling selling stories and NPD rationale to engage retailers and win distribution.
Recommending and executing consumerled advertising support plans that drive strong ROI and KPI achievement.
YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE
An experienced fullmix marketer ideally in FMCG food or drink
Able to demonstrate commercial leadership and ownership with a recent track record of delivering big bold marketing initiatives that have driven real business results
An agile thinker and doer with the ability to manage a complex product portfolio within fast paced internal and external environments
A strong communicator who can inspire and influence at all levels
Someone with natural curiosity and passion for brands category & insights savvy with an instinctive grasp of what excites shoppers and consumers.
