We have an exciting opportunity for an HSQE Coordinator to join our friendly team at our Lutterworth site on a full time permanent basis!
Salary: 28000 per annum.
Working hours: Any 5 in 7 days 8am4pm.
As a HSQE Coordinator you will work closely with our internal Health and Safety and Quality teams to ensure the company maintains all required certifications and is legally compliant in all its health safety and quality activities.
Key Duties of a HSQE Coordinator:
- Support HSQE Advisor on guidance and advice to the campus on compliance with all statutory requirements quality environmental and company standards.
- To participate in Health Safety and Environmental training for established staff and ensure induction training for all new entrants including agency staff is completed.
- Maintain and coordinate the site quality activities to BRC standards.
- Undertake risk assessments relating to HSQE as required. Development and production of Safe Systems of Work.
- To encourage employee involvement in Health Safety and Environmental issues.
- Carrying out Health and Safety auditing and inspections identifying corrective & preventive actions along with opportunities for improvement.
- To support managers in Health and Safety Risk Assessments / COSHH Assessments to ensure that legislative standards are met or exceeded.
- To audit and report on internal Health Safety and Environmental management arrangements and progress the effective closure of any actions required including quality and compliance.
- Liaise with central facilities management to ensure site PPM schedule repairs and maintenance are completed.
- Support the collation of monthly/weekly health and safety stats and produce local H&S reports.
Qualifications :
- IOSH managing safety managing safety at work.
- Understanding of BRC standards and BRC audit exposure.
- Relevant experience of working as part of a HSQE team.
- Experience with 3PL distribution and/or 3PL warehouse function(s).
- Good at developing working relationships with leadership teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office packages).
- Dynamic and selfmotivated keen to achieve excellence within the business.
