What we are looking for
NRC is looking for an Education Project Manager South to join the Ukraine role holder will be responsible for the implementation of Education projects and activities in Southern Ukraine. The position encompasses team management project cycle management capacity building integrated programming and stakeholder coordination.
If you are an influentialdiplomatic and collaborative leader;with strong communication coordination networking and stakeholder management skills;and experience in leading collaborative engaging and effective teamsthen this is the role for you!

What you will bring
- Senior project implementationexperience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Partnerships expertise.
- Education expertise and familiarity with minimum standards.
- Complex and volatile context exposure.
- Start-up scale-up projects and emergency contexts exposure.
- Ukraine contextexposure and knowledge pertaining to displacement and humanitarian needs.
- English and Ukrainianfluency both written and verbal.
What makes this position attractive
- The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been working in Ukraine since 2014. Following the escalation of conflict in February 2022 NRC rapidly scaled up its operations across Ukraine and neighbouring countries.

- In 2024 we supported close to 300000 people across all of Ukraine through the provision of multi-purpose cash assistance as a preferred modality of aid delivery as well as through programmatic interventions.
- We increasingly work with local actors ranging from local NGOs but also with local authorities the private sector academia etc. among others to ensure the sustainability of our response.
- NRCs humanitarian response in the South of Ukraine is focused on an integrated approach that combines its programming expertise of Shelter; Water Sanitation and Hygiene; Education; Protection from Violence; and Information Counselling and Legal Assistance.
- NRC and its partners are currently working in all Southern oblasts through the South Area Office in Odesa and field offices in Mykolaiv and Kherson.

What we offer
