SHE Manager Aimia Foods

Location: Haydock Merseyside

What Youll Lead

Health & Safety Culture

  • Build a proactive safety culture with clear policies tools and expectations

  • Carry out sitewide audits risk assessments and safety inspections

  • Investigate incidents thoroughly and turn lessons into actionable improvements

  • Work closely with teams across the business to embed safe working practices

Environmental Impact

  • Develop and deliver sustainability plans aligned with ESG goals

  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste improve efficiency and enhance our environmental footprint

  • Keep the business ahead of evolving environmental regulations

Training & Engagement

  • Design and deliver training that builds awareness confidence and ownership of SHE at all levels

  • Manage SHE induction programmes to give every new starter a safe informed welcome

  • Empower leaders and teams to take accountability for safety and sustainability

Compliance & Reporting

  • Stay up to date with legislation and ensure compliance across all functions

  • Build relationships with regulators and external auditors

  • Report on KPIs and trends using insights to drive continuous improvement

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience in a similar SHE leadership role ideally within manufacturing or FMCG

  • Strong understanding of SHE legislation and best practice

  • A confident communicator who can influence and engage others

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into decisions

  • A genuine passion for people wellbeing and the environment
