A great opportunity has arisen for a high voltage engineer to join a highly skilled team in a company who are globally recognised for their loss prevention strategies. My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require a high voltage engineer to come in and contribute towards plant improvement schemes. A great opportunity to develop in a specialist environment.
Your Duties:
* Oversee the maintenance inspection and upgrading of high voltage electrical systems
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations optimise system performance and ensure an uninterrupted power supply
* Troubleshoot electrical issues manage planned maintenance activities and identify/implement improvements to enhance system reliability
* Manage a small high voltage team
* Provide technical expertise to support capital projects and ensure high voltage electrical systems are designed and maintained to high standards
Requirements
* Senior Authorised Person (SAP) high voltage engineering experience
* Advanced electrical engineering background with strong knowledge of high voltage systems and safety regulations (heavy manufacturing backgrounds or similar)
* A degree in electrical engineering
* Experienced in planning and implementing CapEx projects
