Part Time KS1 Teaching Assistant Level 2 x2
Part Time 30 hours per week (hours to be worked will be 8.45am3.15pm incl unpaid lunch
break)
Teaching Assistant Level 2
Band: D
Fixed term contract until 17/07/2026 (Term time 39 week contract)

The Governors of this popular and successful Catholic Infant school would like to appoint two
caring energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our KS1 team on a fixed term
contract from September 2025.
St Johns Catholic Infant School provides a loving and caring Catholic Christian community where
everyone works together to make a happy enjoyable and successful learning environment.
The successful candidate will be supporting children who have additional needs and teaching and
learning in a KS1 classroom. They will need to be passionate about helping our children to achieve
their potential. They may also be required to support other children in small groups being proficient
in supporting children through aspects of phonics and other curriculum areas. The successful
candidates will have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum demonstrate excellent
interpersonal skills have the ability to work as a team member and be able to use their own
initiative.
Candidates must be prepared to uphold and affirm the Catholic ethos and nature of the school
although applications will be warmly welcomed from candidates of other faiths.
