Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital Facilities Bank Contract ad hoc
Salary 12.33 per hour
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an adhoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a General Hospital Porter at our Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital youll need to be a good communicator as this role involves helping our patients to feel relaxed and reassured before and after surgery. Its also essential that youre happy to undergo our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as part of your application.
As a General Hospital Porter you will:
Manage waste streams (clinical domestic recycling special)
Carry out security checks (early morning opening evening lockdown and ad hoc)
Control access to the car park
Manage patient transfers between departments
Manage both internal and external post (including recording of postal use by onsite third parties)
Maintain the external environment to a high standard (including the car park)
To support the Porter Team Leader and Facilities Team to ensure that the third party facilities providers are delivering to the agreed levels of service
Opportunity to complete some shifts in the Supplies department to further increase the potential for available bank hours
