What we look for
Were looking for a Premium Finance Product Governance Specialist to join our Premium Finance Product Governance team on a secondment basis until December 2025.
You will be a driven individual who is inquisitive presents strong organisational and interpersonal skills is not afraid to challenge. You will focus on improving the ways of working to help us introduce efficiencies and continue to provide insurance that suits our customers needs.
If you enjoy networking and interacting with stakeholders at different levels and you also have an analytical mind with the ability to use Excel to analyse data interpret trends and the ability to present information (using Powerpoint) to nontechnical users we would like to hear from you!
This role is a hybrid opportunity with two working days a week from our London or Leeds office.
Who you will work with
You will work within our wider Business Improvement Team where youll have the opportunity to work with a variety of teams across many functions.
As a key member of the Premium Finance Product Governance team youll be responsible for key tasks that enable our business to deliver robust governance controls to oversee consumer outcomes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
What you will do
You will work for the Head of Premium Finance Manager to align overall insurance vision and strategy with specific team missions and support the delivery of team outcomes for our Premium Finance Personal and Commercial Lines Products.
Actively seek out to put the customer at the heart of all activities; analyse and understand data that enables benchmarking the service delivered and identify performance issues. Ability to monitor and interpret trends analyse product performance identify areas for improvements and summarise the results in a comprehensive manner in power point packs that are presented to governance forums. Manage Information gathering for FCA requests and support governance changes to comply with regulation and DLGs standards.
Coordinate all activity to produce thorough monthly governance forum packs and assist production of annual product reviews summarise findings and raise actions to address the risks identified. Organise and participate in the product governance meetings with matrix managed stakeholders to articulate current trends and potential risks.
Manage product actions ensuring appropriate risk and control management are in place. Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that key actions are delivered in line with commitment deadlines and timely escalate challenges to appropriate forums and senior business leaders as appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with matrix stakeholders at all levels to gather key information needed for product assessment and monitoring and facilitate effective challenges to proposed business change; and ensure delivery of good customer outcomes is the key driver.
Contributing to the development and enhancement of product governance packs frameworks and procedures.
Ensure customer outcomes are considered and customer best interests rules and regulatory rules are adhered to when decisions are made.
Be aware of and comply with the rules and requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and any other legal/regulatory/risk management frameworks.
