You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAn established and wellrespected specialist primary setting in West London is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team supporting children with autism and complex communication needs.
This is a rare opportunity to work in a school committed to tailored therapeutic education where communication is at the heart of everything. The role starts on a parttime basis moving to fulltime from September.
Carry out detailed assessments to identify pupils speech language and communication profiles
Design and deliver targeted interventions both 1:1 and groupbased that are functional and engaging
Work collaboratively with teachers therapists and parents to integrate communication strategies into daily routines
Track and evaluate progress adapting approaches as needed
Support the wider staff team with training and resources to embed best practice in communication
Promote a communicationrich autismfriendly environment across the school
HCPCregistered Speech and Language Therapist
Experience working with autistic children or pupils with additional needs
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Confidence delivering evidencebased interventions in educational settings
Creative proactive and reflective in practice
Structured inhouse CPD and clinical support from experienced professionals

Education
You must hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or an equivalent qualification recognised in the UK) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Additional training or experience in working with autism spectrum conditions or within educational settings is desirable but not essential.
