As a PMO Expert for Supply Chain Management projects at METRO you will play a central role in driving the success of strategic initiatives by enabling effective project planning coordination and execution. You will serve as a key point of contact for PMOrelated topics supporting internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient project delivery and alignment with business objectives. In this role you will help manage timelines risks and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives. By ensuring consistency in project governance and documentation you will contribute to the optimization of processes and the continuous improvement of our global supply chain operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for all PMOrelated topics within supply chain projects liaising with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners
- Support the business in driving strategic and operational projects by ensuring structured project execution and alignment with timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate and steer all PMO activities across multiple workstreams fostering alignment and process efficiency
- Monitor project progress identify potential risks or bottlenecks and facilitate proactive problem resolution
- Ensure transparent communication through regular project reporting and documentation
- Maintain project governance structures tools and templates to enable consistency across initiatives
Qualifications :
- Degree in Business Economics Supply Chain Management Project Management or a related field
- Proven experience in PMO roles with solid knowledge of project management standards and best practices
- Strong organizational communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive detailoriented and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
- High level of initiative analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset
- Project Management certification (e.g. Prince2) is an advantage
- Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar largescale IT systems is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus
