Job Description
Were seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic Scrum team. In this fastpaced environment youll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through rigorous testing practices and collaboration within the agile methodology.
Reporting to the Associate Director IT Agile Testing Lead you will:
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning Daily Standups Sprint Review Sprint Retrospective) providing valuable insights on testability and quality.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners Developers and other team members to understand requirements and user stories translating them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Design develop and execute detailed test cases covering functional integration regression and performance testing.
- Utilize Python Selenium and Pytest to develop and maintain automated test scripts ensuring efficient and repeatable testing.
- Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve overall test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies within the agile framework.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding test progress results and potential risks.

Qualifications :
You Have:
- Extensive experience (5 years) as a Software Tester with a significant portion of that time working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Proven ability to create wellstructured comprehensive test plans and test cases from requirements and user stories.
- Strong proficiency and handson experience in Python Selenium and Pytest for test automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles methodologies and best practices.
