Job Description
As a Backend Developer you ll lead the creation of scalable backend systems in AWS develop APIs integrate AI/ML using Amazon Bedrock and design infrastructure with CDK. Your work will directly support smarter faster healthcare removing inefficiencies and making real impact.
Shift: Monday to Friday 02:00 PM 11:00 PM CST
Work setup: Work From Home/Remote
- Build and maintain Pythonbased backend services within AWS
- Implement and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK and IaC best practices
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities with Amazon Bedrock
- Design and develop robust APIs with Amazon AppSync
- Use Amazon Athena for data querying and analysis
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
Technologies and Frameworks:
- Extensive experience with Python and related backend frameworks
- Deep understanding and handson experience with Amazon Web Services
- Proven experience using AWS CDK to define and deploy cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding and application of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Experience integrating with Amazon Bedrock for generative AI
- Proficiency in building GraphQL APIs using Amazon AppSync
- Experience using Amazon Athena for data analysis and querying
Technical Proficiency:
- At least 35 years of relevant experience
- Experience designing and deploying serverless applications on AWS (e.g. Lambda API Gateway)
- Ability to design efficient APIs
- Experience with data processing pipelines and technologies
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Implementing unit integration and automated tests for backend services
- Understanding of cloud security best practices in AWS environment
