Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to lead the operations of a wellestablished hotel in Abidjan. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in hospitality management be fluent in French and already reside in Abidjan. A solid network of local clients and partners is essential with regional or international exposure considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations: front office housekeeping F&B and guest services
Ensure excellent guest experiences and handle complaints or feedback professionally
Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy revenue and profitability
Prepare budgets monitor performance and ensure cost control
Lead train and manage hotel staff to ensure high standards of service
Represent the hotel at local business events and within the hospitality industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients partners and key stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry including at least 3 years in a hotel management role.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
- Strong public relations skills and an established network of local clients and partners; regional or international exposure is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership financial acumen and operational management skills.
- Handson serviceoriented approach with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel management software.
