Job Description

Heavy Duty Mechanic Drilling & Piling Equipment

Location: Calgary AB
Industry: Construction / Foundations / Heavy Equipment
Recruitment by Partner Staffing on behalf of our client

Partner Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of a wellestablished client in the foundation and drilling industry for an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading team that specializes in heavy equipment servicing across major construction and infrastructure projects.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess equipment for defects and perform necessary repairs

  • Conduct maintenance and repair activities safely keeping work areas organized and compliant with safety policies

  • Diagnose malfunctions using computerized and mechanical testing equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulics electrical and mechanical systems on major equipment brands (e.g. Liebherr Bauer Soilmec CAT John Deere Bobcat etc.)

  • Collaborate with team members while also being capable of working independently

  • Represent the company professionally while upholding its core values and commitment to safety


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with heavy construction piling or drilling equipment

  • Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification

  • Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills

  • Comfortable with both shopbased and fieldbased work environments

  • Proven commitment to safe work practices

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted

  • Class 1 or 3 license considered an asset

  • Own tools considered a benefit

  • Preference given to candidates with 2 5 years of industry experience
