We rescue surplus unsold food from across the supply chain and redistribute it to nonprofits across the country to feed communities. The Role

The Senior Foodraising Manager British Columbia will champion our mission to rescue surplus food by forging strong partnerships with British Columbias food businesses. In this role you will drive our innovative approach to food rescue to acquire and retain a diversified food donor network with an emphasis on highimpact food businesses that can provide substantial volumes of surplus food. Extensive travel across the province of British Columbia and close collaboration with our operations and logistics teams is required to ensure a seamless flow of rescued food into our nonprofit network.

Your Impact

  • Expand Our Network: Identify and engage potential food donors through proactive networking cold calls and dynamic presentations to turn leads into lasting partnerships.
  • Boost Donation Quality: Recruit and reenergize both existing and lapsed donors ensuring a consistent supply of highquality surplus food.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize donation processes and support impactful largevolume food rescue initiatives.
  • Enhance Supply Assurance: Optimize rescued food delivery by leveraging our inhouse and thirdparty fleets alongside the Second Harvest Food Rescue App ensuring seamless endtoend movement between donors and nonprofit network.
  • Innovate and Adapt: Monitor outreach success gather donor feedback and finetune strategies to maximize community impact.
