Course Title and Course Number: NURLegal Ethical and Professional Practice Issues (on Campus)

Job Description:
Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinators the teaching assistants will help engage and teach nursing students on Legal Ethical and Professional Practice Issues by reviewing course content leading inperson workshops participating in student evaluation and implementing the course plan as developed.
The TAs are available for student questions and may support the course coordinator with office hours. Attendance and facilitation of inperson workshops is expected. Support for grading workshop reports is expected. The TA must therefore be available at the scheduled class time in the morning for 3 specific dates:
Friday September 19th
Friday October 31st
Friday November 28th
Salary: $37.34/hour

Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
Health care ethics training & knowledge expected.
Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
Previous experience as a TA.
Bilingual in French & English an asset.
Facilitation experience in workshops & discussions.
Aptitudes in managing technology an asset.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
