Amgen British Columbia located in Burnaby is a research center of excellence focused primarily on the use of cuttingedge platform technology for the discovery of therapeutic antibodies. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support the Strategic Planning & Operations team at Amgen British Columbia. This role offers a unique opportunity to work crossfunctionally with research and operations teams to help implement key initiatives streamline operations and support strategic goals

Essential Functions:

• assist in project management activities organizational communications data gathering and resource planning.
• gain handson experience creating dashboards and presentations meeting coordination and supporting ongoing improvement efforts.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a coop assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

• 18 years or older
• Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
• Completion of one year of study from an accredited from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
• Enrolled in a full time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or coop assignment with an accredited college or university
• Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree concentration(s) in Biology Immunology Biochemistry Biomedical Engineering Bioinformatics Computer Science or related field
• General knowledge of cell biology immunology biochemistry & molecular biology
• The ideal candidate will be curious and enthusiastic about contributing to a missiondriven organization focused on serving patients through innovation.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to function effectively as part of a team
• Excellent organizational record keeping and time management skills
