Position Description
The Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention is seeking a fulltime contract (12 months) Social Worker 2 to provide psilocybinassisted psychotherapy (PAP). In this position you will work on several clinical trials that will assess the clinical effects of PAP and the feasibility and tolerability of psilocybin in individuals with treatmentresistant depression obsessivecompulsive disorder bipolar disorder body dysmorphic disorder and other psychiatric conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide PAP a form of nondirective therapy during psilocybin dosing sessions to research participants. You will also be responsible for preparing research participants for PAP sessions and providing followup and debrief therapy to participants who have completed PAP. You will attend training sessions provide specialist assessment of a patients suitability for PAP and work closely with another clinician to provide PAP to research participants. Additional responsibilities include administering study assessments and standardized clinical scales to participants such as structured interviews selfreport measures and clinicianrated instruments in accordance with the study protocol. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of study records during assessments and therapy sessions.

The successful candidate will possess a Masters of Social Work degree combined with two (2) years of postgraduate work experience. You will be a registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers. Experience in a mental health/addiction setting is required. Experience in a multidisciplinary teamwork setting is required. Preference will be given to those who have expertise in PsilocybinAssisted Psychotherapy (PAP). Excellent organizational interpersonal written communication skills computer skills including wordprocessing electronic communication and workload measures are essential. Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
