The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largestmental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada as well as one of the worlds leading research centres in its services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental illness and addictions. Our goal is to tailor treatment to each individual providing patientcentered comprehensive coordinated care.

Position Description

The Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention is seeking a fulltime contract (12 months) Social Worker 2 to provide psilocybinassisted psychotherapy (PAP). In this position you will work on several clinical trials that will assess the clinical effects of PAP and the feasibility and tolerability of psilocybin in individuals with treatmentresistant depression obsessivecompulsive disorder bipolar disorder body dysmorphic disorder and other psychiatric conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide PAP a form of nondirective therapy during psilocybin dosing sessions to research participants. You will also be responsible for preparing research participants for PAP sessions and providing followup and debrief therapy to participants who have completed PAP. You will attend training sessions provide specialist assessment of a patients suitability for PAP and work closely with another clinician to provide PAP to research participants. Additional responsibilities include administering study assessments and standardized clinical scales to participants such as structured interviews selfreport measures and clinicianrated instruments in accordance with the study protocol. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of study records during assessments and therapy sessions.
