Role description:

As a Construction Quality Manager in the Transit Facilities sector you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of construction projects related to transit facilities such as railways subways bus terminals and airports. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control measures to ensure that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications. This includes monitoring the construction process conducting inspections and coordinating with project teams to address any qualityrelated issues. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of transit facility projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for construction projects in the transit facilities sector.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and regulations.
• Review construction plans drawings and specifications to identify potential quality issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams contractors and subcontractors to address qualityrelated concerns and provide guidance on quality control measures.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with thirdparty testing agencies to perform material and structural testing as required.
• Document and report quality control findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for project teams to enhance their understanding of quality control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction quality management preferably in the transit facilities sector.
• Indepth knowledge of construction codes standards and regulations.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality results.
