and direct all in person or phone inquiries with efficiency politeness and professionalism which includes:
Responding to general inquiries.
Refer client to Caseworker or IVR for cheque information.
Completing and screening intakes.
Scheduling monitoring and confirming client appointments.
Assisting clients with the completion of forms or requests
clerical support functions which includes:
Records Management (filing labelling etc.).
Maintenance and management of archive files.
Reviewing terminated files for O/P and O/P letters.
Filing and maintaining of inactive files.
Preparing and posting all daily and monthly pay lists.
Monitoring reporting and management ofclient cheque Pickups Holds and Releases.
Date stamping sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
Photocopying.
Monitoring stocking and distribution of office supplies and forms.
Mailing out correspondence on direction from caseworkers.
Assisting with general word processing duties.
Report any necessary maintenance for office equipment or safety requirements to the supervisor.
Monitoring and followup for assignments (EI WSIB CPP).
and maintain good working relationships with office staff clients and the public which includes:
Complying with all office procedures.
Attending staff meetings.
Participating in team activities.
Participating in issue resolution.
Assisting where needed when short staffed and/or in emergency situations.
Responding to all client and/or public inquiries in a professional timely manner.

Maintaining a working knowledge of all software applications required to carry out functions of job.
Accessing and responding to voice mail email etc. in a timely manner.

A community college certificate in an acceptable related field of study; or one (1) year of recent office experience with a grade 12 diploma.This job may be considered for educational equivalency in accordance with County Policy.
Demonstrated written and verbal proficiency in the French language; tested and assessed at an advanced level
Criminal reference check with vulnerable sector clearance.
Demonstrated computer experience in a Windows environment.
Demonstrated keyboarding skills of 50 55 wpm.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Demonstrated mathematical skills.
Evidence of continuing formal professional development will be considered an asset.
Valid G class drivers license and access to reliable vehicle.

Walking stooping kneeling crouching lifting or carrying and/or pulling of light weights.
Ability to work with numerous interruptions in a busy office environment.
Work performed in a busy office environment. May deal with clients in emotional crisis.
May be assigned to office locations based on operational requirements.
