Are you an outgoing customer focused individual with proven skills and experience in working in a fastpaced environment If so we are currently offering exciting opportunities for a permanent part timeCustomer Service Representativein our Parks Recreation and Culture Department.
In this exciting role you will be in constant contact with the general public and community groups. The work involves the provision of assistance and information regarding recreation programs events schedules rentals and fees as well as processing registration for all recreation programs; receiving and processing cash and other forms of payments and routine clerical support duties. Your time management and organization skills will allow you to work effectively in this busy atmosphere. Your strong communication and relationship building skills will be essential as you provide information and assistance to the public and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. Your ability to work independently multitask and take initiative will guide your success in this position.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
PT MRC #1 Block available:
Sunday 2:30pm 7:30pm
Wednesday Thursday Friday 5:00pm 9:00pm
Saturday 1:45pm 10:15pm
This position is unionized CUPE Local 774 and the hourly rate of pay is from $26.81to$31.54per hour.
