We are Canadas only Catholic Basilian faithbased independent school. We educate young men from Grades 7 to 12 in a universitypreparatory programme. Position Available:
St. Michaels College School welcomes teacher applicants with the following qualifications abilities and experience:
Intermediate and Senior Divisions with qualifications in Music Instrumental
Honours Specialist Music is an asset
Member in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Additional qualifications are deemed assets including Religious Education Part 1
Willingness to uphold the teachings and values of the Catholic faith and provide a letter from your parish priest confirming that you are a practicing Catholic
Working knowledge of the Ontario curriculum specifically with Growing Success
Ability to foster a caring and professional rapport with students faculty and staff and parents and guardians
Promotes collaboration by leveraging technology with platforms such as Zoom MS O365 recording video lessons using screen capture software etc.
Training and experience with inquiry based and problembased learning is an asset
Willingness to participate in the school s cocurricular programme
Reports to: Principal
Rate of Pay: As per the SMCSTA Collective Agreement.
202425 A4 range: Level 0 $ 75739.50 to Level 10 $132735.20
