Job Description:
UPS is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a physical fastpaced outdoor environment that involves delivering packages in residential areas for UPS Personal Vehicle Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills.
Job Summary
This position is a temporary and seasonal Parttime role requiring use of ones personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. Employee performs in a physical fastpaced outdoor position involving continual lifting lowering and carrying packages.
Responsibilities:
Retrieves loads packages into personal vehicle and delivers packages to customers.
Shift:
Available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am 7pm to work minimum 35 hours Normally the start time is between 10am and Noon
Compensation
Hourly Rate: Base 17.30$/h 1.70$ bonus
UPS will reimburse you 0.59$ for each kilometer you drive
Qualifications:
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid class 5 drivers license
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs
Excellent customer contact and service skills
Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages
Bilingual ( French and English)
Vehicle registered in candidates name
Valid vehicle insurance
Approved Vehicle Features:
Current vehicle registration
Current car insurance coverage
4door sedans and hatchbacks (midsize or larger)
Minivans SUVs
Vans must have a covered and secure bed
Must comply with all provincial and local regulations
*Hourly bonus is subject to change and UPS Canada reserves the right to modify or discontinue the bonus program at any time
