You are responsible for planning coordinating and managing a temporary largescale high profile operational project. As the leader of the Service Evolution and Delivery team your team will serve as the innovation hub for Revenue Services responsible for reimagining and revolutionizing our approach to client service. Supporting a Service Area with significant public interactions we must evolve alongside rapidly changing technology and rising citizen expectations.
You will lead this team to:
Drive strategic transformation across our Service Areas digital infrastructure
Break down traditional silos to create a unified clientcentered service approach
Leverage emerging technologies to enhance both client and staff experiences
Lead multiple highimpact projects that will fundamentally reshape our service delivery
Establish Revenue Services as a leader in municipal service innovation
The ideal candidate for this role will bring executivelevel strategic thinking and a passion for public service transformation. They will have the vision to see beyond current limitations and the practical skills to implement meaningful change.
You provide a central coordination and integration point for related project activities and manage an integrated work plan which identifies key dependencies integration points and communication and consultation plans. You provide strategic risk and issues management support and provide regular progress updates to senior management on risks to the project schedule budget and/or quality of deliverables.
You are responsible for managing the project team/work units human and financial resources including developing and monitoring operating budgets and the hiring termination performance management and discipline of staff as necessary. You also establish and maintain client stakeholder and partner relationships to achieve the desired outcomes of the project.
Completion of 4 year university degree in Public Administration Business Administration or related field (insert specific field related to the project if required for posting)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing major projects of a complex nature (insert specialized area and type of experience if required for posting) including experience in the management of human resources external contract resources and project/operating/capital budgets preferably in a municipal setting
