KASK & Conservatory offers a place for free artistic research embedded in a local national and international context. Researchers from different disciplines work out their research process there in critical dialogue with the world.

The research infrastructure constitutes important working and meeting places for researchers teachers and students. This infrastructure offers the possibility of setting up collective projects and experiments.

The OPlab is a lab within KASK & Conservatory that focuses on digitizing analog (image) material. As OPlab coordinator (20%) you are responsible for the smooth running of the lab. You support both researchers and students in digitizing archiving organizing and converting old media (with a focus on film and video). You work with 8mm and 16mm scanners as well as with players for various video formats. The coordinator assists the creative processes of researchers and students. The lab can also be used to provide services for external projects. The lab is located in the campus Bijloke

We are offering a parttime (20%) fixedterm contractual recruitment with employment starting at the earliest from 1/09/2025 for the duration of one year. After one year your contract can be additionally extended based on a positive evaluation.

Your compensation as an OPlab Coordinator (Class B) is based on demonstrated relevant work experience.

Extra:

Internet allowance of 20 per month

36 days of vacation per full calendar year for fulltime employment
