No to Violence is Australias largest peak body for services and individuals that work with men who use family violence. No to Violence operates the national Mens Referral Service the national Brief Intervention Services and the Victorian based Perpetrator Accommodation Support Service free confidential counselling referral and support services. Key role responsibilities

The Learning and Development Designer is part of the Workforce Development Team and will play a leadership role in the development of NTVs internal and external training offerings ensuring that NTV is responsive to sector and client needs and reflect contemporary approaches to adult learning. It is desirable that the Learning and Development Designer has experience in the family violence sector and a strong understanding of the gendered nature of family violence

Role responsibilities include:

  • Utilising learning design principles and adult learning theory to design and develop live online and face to workshops and elearning courses that are interactive engaging effective and build key capabilities for a diverse range of audiences.
  • Designing and developing training resources including guides for facilitators materials for participants and elearning modules.
  • Developing and implementing evaluation tools and providing regular reports to measure learning effectiveness and facilitate continuous improvement in NTVs learning offerings.

Mandatory requirements:

  • A relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in learning design content creation elearning development and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated experience with online learning tools/software.
  • An excellent understanding of contemporary training methods and tools adult learning principles learning theories and design models such as ADDIE and SAM and the application of these to maximise learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate practice knowledge into engaging training materials.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
