About the role

Due to internal promotion a new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS Home Care Operations team as our Operations Support Officer. This role is being offered on a permanent fulltime basis and attracts an hourly rate of $35.87 $36.93 / hour pending previous experience.

This role will see you providing support to our Operations team who coordinates and schedules the delivery of care services to our consumers across the Northern Territory. You will become an expert on systems used and work with staff to ensure that processes and workflows are both followed and completed in an efficient and productive manner with our consumers needs always as the priority in our service delivery. In addition you will provide administrative support to our Operations manager and the greater team in completing monthly reports data entry record keeping and day to day requirements.

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate a background in Administrative or scheduling ideally within the Aged or disability sectors. You will be a selfstart who enjoys working with a large and diverse team. You are comfortable in learning new systems and takes a proactive approach to support the team in creating efficiencies and better ways of operating. You will have a strong IT acumen and enjoy working with data and supporting reporting requirements.

Skills & experience

To be considered for this role we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:

  • Understanding of Workforce Coordination rostering and scheduling.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Great timemanagement skills and an ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Prior experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience using multiple systems and databases.
  • Confidence with smart phone and digital devices.
  • Experience in working with a team within community services such as Aged Care Disability Mental Health Housing or a similar industry.
