About the role

  • Lead the delivery of highquality clinical trial pharmacy services within the Investigational Drugs Service across a range of medical specialties

  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to pharmacists and technicians ensuring safe and efficient trial support

  • Support cuttingedge research including earlyphase Oncology Haematology and immune effector cell therapy trials

  • Work closely with the Deputy Director of Pharmacy to coordinate service delivery across the St Vincents Research Precinct

  • Contribute to the strategic direction and performance of the Pharmacy Department as part of the SVHS leadership team

About you

  • Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions on scope of practice and post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience

  • Availability for oncall and weekend work as per roster requirements.

  • Demonstrated expertise in oncology/haematology pharmacy including complex cancer care and bone marrow transplantation

  • Strong understanding of clinical trials and regulatory frameworks governing investigational drugs in Australia and internationally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to produce clinical educational and research documentation

  • Skilled in managing complex workloads leading service improvements and committed to ongoing professional development aligned with the values of St Vincents Health Australia
