Whats the role
This permanent fulltime role is part of our multibilliondollar UNITE Program based at our incredible Tech Hub in the Gold Coast!
You will be a mainframe technical lead with deep expertise in CICS based applications and will be overseeing the development and maintenance of mortgage servicing and loan origination systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with product owners mortgage business analysts and enterprise architects to translate regulatory and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee the analysis design development and testing of changes and enhancements to core mortgage processing systems.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of CICS online transactions and batch jobs that support critical mortgage functions.
- Drive modernization initiatives including integration of mainframe systems with digital channels APIs and cloudbased services.
- Act as technical SME for audits compliance efforts (e.g. SOX) and data governance initiatives.
What do I need
To be successful in this position you should be proficient in COBAL CICS DB2 JCL VSAM on IBM z/OS platforms. You will have experience in a technical lead position and demonstrate how you can support mentor and guide a team.
You will have the below skills/experience:
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging tools like XPEDITER AbendAID FileAID and other tools.
- Skilled in mainframe source code management tools like Endevor Change man or equivalent.
- Agile development and DevOps exposure in a mainframe environment.
- Strong analytical interpersonal and leadership skills.
