The Opportunity
We are seeking Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to support our Postnatal Ward at Kareena Private Hospital. In this role you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive evidencebased midwifery care to our mothers and families in line with the core values and strategic direction. Acting in a professional manner when dealing with the health care team patients their families and the wider community you will facilitate and promote patient safety and quality care. This is a night shift duty position where you will be performing duties primarily on our overnight shifts.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager Clinical Nurse Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
- Registration with AHPRA as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Recent experience working within postnatal care
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Midwifery practice in the workplace
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- A keen interest in postnatal education
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $32.96 $35.88 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1thereafter) FTE $65128.96 $70898.88
