You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Clinical Education Lead will be responsible for developing maintaining and implementing training programs that support staff in delivering highquality patient care and aligning with best practice standards. This role will require statewide travel to conduct education and training as required.
This role will also involve evaluating the effectiveness of educational initiatives through appropriate assessment methods identifying areas of risk and making recommendations for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clinical education patient outcomes fostering a culture of continuous learning and have proven experience codesigning learning programs and contributing to highperforming teams.
Key Requirements
Experience and qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical education or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience working in a clinical role within a healthcare setting.
Bachelors degree in relevant healthcare field e.g. Nursing
Post Graduate qualification in Clinical Education to support clinical and nonclinical learning environments (preferred)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support 1 (desirable)
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and contemporary education practices including virtual blended and facetoface delivery.
High level of computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office EMR systems and educational technologies (e.g. Articulate Storyline).
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development instructional design and program evaluation.
Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate mentor and inspire others.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working across diverse teams.
Indepth understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements for clinical education.
Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
Agile mindset with the ability to adapt learning approaches to meet varying needs.
Experience delivering training on complex and sensitive topics including traumainformed care.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
