Are you an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse with a passion for making a difference
We have a rewarding position at Doutta Galla Aged Services in Yarraville Village for a Clinical Care Coordinator. This leadership position provides clinical support and staff management offering an exciting opportunity to work in a role with an organisation you can be proud of.
The role is a 6 month fulltime position: Monday to Fridayand is responsible for the delivery of resident focused clinical care services including care planning review and assessment of all aspects of clinical care.
What you bring:
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions.
- Dedication to resident care and support.
- Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions palliative care and care of people living with dementia including
managing challenging behaviours. - Advanced clinical skills and experience in managing outbreaks and emergency situations.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead staff promoting a positive work environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and written skills and the ability to effectively communicate with residents resident representatives and other health professionals.
- Strong planning time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to complete reporting and conduct trend analysis and observations to inform best practice care.
- A good understanding of the Aged Care Act and its principles Aged Care Standards and ANACC funding and palliative care funding.
