We are looking for a professional who is passionate about technology and problemsolving using technology whether it is a simple issue that enables a user to work faster or a solution that improves efficiency/productivity for a big team it gives me immense satisfaction. Role:Technology Architect
Location:Sydney Australia

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline in data lake from scratchbuilt on S3 buckets Snowflake Lambda functions using Python Glue.
- Create data pipelines between various source systems such as SAS Oracle Salesforce Guidewire and SQL Server to an enterprise Data Lake / warehouse complying with a STAR schema with multiple SCDs CDCs and FACT tables
- Document technical specifications data models process flows etc
- Work with Product and Business Owners collaborate with delivery and technical team members on development tests and support for a particular subject area
- Conduct deep dive triage in support of ETL development issue analysis and resolution
Skills and Competencies:
- 5 years with industry standard ETL tools including 3 years with SAS or Informatica or Matillion
- 5 years with data warehouses / marts supporting business requirements BI report development and report analysis
- 5 years of intermediate to advanced experience in data modelling and manipulation
- Experience developing within an agile (i.e. Scrum or Kanban) framework
- Experience working in a matrixed environment on a fastpaced project
- Business experience with insurance industry
- Exposure to Snowflake database
- Mentoring of junior staff
- Experience using Docker
- CICD pipeline experience
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience with SQL
Essential:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong soft skills (e.g. communication interpersonal collaborative resilient agile work practice)
- PreEmployment Checks
Preferred:
- Experience with Kubernetes would be beneficial.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problemsolving skills.
